Under Ohio law, driving under the influence or under suspension are serious offenses. While no one advocates impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over the last few decades our state legislature’s repeated lowering of the legal limit for operation of a vehicle combined with very aggressive enforcement by police make these types of cases all too common.
